Micky Yang

Human Rights Council

Micky Yang is a student at Basis International School Park Lane Harbor. It is his most sincere wish to bring MUN to more students and to host more beginner friendly MUNs. When evaluating delegates, he believes delegates should not only be eloquent, but also collaborative, as MUN is not a debate competition, but an exercise of collaborative problem-solving abilities. In resolution writing, he thinks it unimportant to use frivolous vocabulary to showcase skill and would instead urge delegates to come up with practical solutions in accordance with their country’s stance. Apart from MUN, Micky is an avid sailor, and participates in many regattas. To all students attending SCIMUN, be it staff or delegates, Micky would like to wish you the best of luck.

*Micky is not averse to being called Micky Mouse, but strongly advises delegates against doing so while the committee is in session as it shows a clear lack of professionalism.
