Micky Yang

Security Council

Hello everyone, I’m Micky Yang and I’ll be helping chair UNSC this year. Having started participating in MUNs since 7th grade, I’ve participated in a host of MUNs and have experience in both chairing and delegating.
When chairing MUNs, I believe in having fun while maintaining a high degree of academic standard. Previously I’ve mainly focused on chairing UNHRC and teaching beginners, but I’ve also had experience with chairing and participating in UNSC. As such, my requirements for UNSC will be higher, and so I’ll be focusing more on academics when looking to give out awards. Pertaining to this, I mainly look for skill in three areas: resolution, POIs (both asking and responding), and extemporaneous speech.
Best of luck to everyone preparing for the conference. I’m incredibly excited and looking forward to seeing all of you guys in March.
